Busan, an important city on the southern coast of the Korean peninsula

Busan is a much more pleasant city than Seoul with colorful neighborhoods, the Haeundae Beach Train or alternatively the Haeundae Sky and Busan Green Railway capsules and its beaches.

Jeonju, the culinary capital of South Korea

The iconic Korean rice dish bibimbap is said to be eaten at its best in Jeonju, a city known for its traditional cuisine. Jeonju is also known for its Hanok village with its traditional Korean houses.

Tongdosa

One of the five “Nirvana Jewel Palaces”, which houses relics of Buddha Sakyamuni, but without a Buddha statue in its large prayer hall. One of the most sacred temples in Korea. It is located north of Busan and can be visited as part of a day trip.

Bulguksa

One of the most important temples of Buddhist art in Korea and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Bulguksa Temple is located in the Gyeongju region. It can be reached by plane or train from Seoul or by train from Busan.
