It is impossible to visit Paris without visiting the forecourt of the Trocadero. Opposite the Eiffel Tower, on the other bank of the Seine, it offers one of the most beautiful vantage points for unforgettable photos in the light of sunrise or sunset. The atmosphere is always lively, between amazed tourists and street artists.
Housed in a former train station, the museum first impresses with its majestic architecture and then delights with its collections. The “Musée d’Orsay ” specializes in 19th century art and houses masterpieces by Monet, Van Gogh, Degas and Courbet. It offers a poetic insight into the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist movements.
Located in the Marais, this is the oldest market hall in Paris, founded in 1615. But this place steeped in history is above all a paradise for the palate! Here you will find fresh produce, flowers, but also an incredible variety of small stalls for a quick lunch: Lebanese, Italian, Japanese, Caribbean and good French dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm and almost informal. A must if you want to experience Paris like a local.
This unusual place is an old building that has been converted into a squatted art gallery. Artists from all over the world exhibit their works freely on several floors. Each room is a visual surprise: paintings, graffiti, installations. Admission is free and the visit is immersive. A secret but legendary address for lovers of alternative contemporary art.
A cult address in Paris. People come here for the atmosphere, the large tables and the typical dishes, which are served as they used to be. You don’t need to make a reservation here – it’s lively, loud and full of life. And that’s exactly what we love about it!
