Free time and transfer to Hanoi airport for the flight to Da Nang. Transfer to Hoi An.
Day at leisure. You can take part in an optional day trip. Discover the charm of Hoi An. You will take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River. At some local markets, you have the opportunity to experience rural life with its friendly inhabitants at first hand.
Transfer to Hoi An via the Hai Van Pass. City tour of Hue. Continue to the Khai Dinh Tomb, the burial site of Vietnam’s penultimate king. Ride in a dragon boat on the Perfume River. On the way, visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, an active Buddhist monastery. Drive to the Minh Mang Tomb, where the second emperor of the Nguyen dynasty was buried.
Transfer to Hue airport and flight to Ho Chi Minh. City tour and visit to the Notre Dame Basilica and the Central Post Office, one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. Then visit the Cho-Lon district and the Jade Emperor Temple.
Day at leisure. Optionally, you can discover the Mekong Delta. Boat trip on the Ben Tre River, which runs along the mangroves from the city to the countryside. Visit the village of My Long to see rice paper being made and enjoy rice cakes. On the Cai Son Canal, which winds through the coconut jungle, visit a coconut workshop and see how the coconut is processed.
