Amsterdam – historic canals & modern creativity

Hop on the train at Luxembourg station and discover the capital of the Netherlands in all its facets, starting with the UNESCO World Heritage-listed canals.

Must-See and Do

Canal cruise on the canals of Amsterdam

Take a canal cruise to discover the city and its narrow houses from a different perspective. The boat tours start at various points along the canals.

The Anne Frank House: a symbol of resistance

The house where Anne Frank hid during the Second World War has been converted into a museum. It honors the memory of those who resisted the Nazi regime. The museum, located near one of the main canals, the “Prinsengracht”, commemorates the persecution and discrimination of the Jews during the occupation.

Van Gogh Museum: The famous Dutch artist

The famous painter Vincent van Gogh and his works welcome you to the heart of Amsterdam. This museum houses one of the largest collections of a single artist in the world. As all the works are never on display at the same time, it is advisable to visit the place more than once.
